[Personal] In the end, we only regret the choices we didn't make :)
So here's my inspirational quote of today, brought to you by Cassidy Marlow way back from the days of Gym World when I had crushes on her sister (Brianna, I think was her first name), and Jareth was annoying and I felt like such a dumb*** looking back at myself. There was so much drama, and I was in the center of all of it. But do I regret not quitting? Nope! Not at all. It was one of my best life decisions because it let me join the world of theater where I am so much happier.
The only choice I really regret is getting my speeding ticket because now I'm forced to stay at home, be a loner, and have a pity party. But I'm sure I'll look back at it and think "That's not too bad." And I'll have a few weeks over the summer when I'll be able to drive again and see some of the seniors. That, I should mention is the main reason I'm depressed. All of the seniors are doing fun stuff, and I'm left behind. Some went to the Rock & Roll Hall of fame, some did this, some did that, and I'm left without a friend group. I didn't get invited to do anything. The only real friends I have are Clayon, (Pla?), Ashley, and Betsy who are mostly graduating and Ashley isn't the type of friend who I can just take to Cedar point and go. That's what I want to do. I want to go to Cedar Point and do awesome things with Sandwich Club like see Wiggers's HTC Vive and not do my Ethics in the News Homework. That's the choice I didn't make that I now regret. It's me not sitting down at the senior picnics that I regret. It's the senior breakfast I didn't skip Dodd's class for that I sort-of regret. It's the memories and not getting to know Mr. Gorbach that I regret.
So many memories that could have been made... so much sorrow and self-pity I feel right now. I wish I could call Betsy and go hiking right now at 9:30 at night. I wish drug tests weren't a thing and drugs were more common. I mean, drugs are common now, but I wish I could go against my better judgement and try marijuana with a friend and just be happy and forget about life. But weed isn't good, and my mom would kill me for it, and things just start going downhill when you try marijuana. But on the other side, I know pleanty of people who turned out just fine by triyng drugs
