My mom thinks that the space heater will blow up even though its unplugged

So what do I even say to her? First of all, if the space heater is off, it's not going to turn on, but because she's paranoid, I even unplugged it for her, but no. She still thinks that there's a chance that the house is going to catch on fire because of an unplugged space heater. I mean, the washing machine has a better chance of blowing up than an unplugged space heater, that keep in mind, has been off for 20 minutes after I was finished using it. So it was off, and it was cool, and she still wanted me to bring it to the sunroom so she "can sleep without having to worry" tonight. And yes, I told her it was unplugged, and yes I reminded her like five times that it was unplugged, but she was stubborn.

These cognitive biases are interesting. People react in strange ways for dumb reasons. My mom ignores the possibility of her getting into a car accident, but reacts that its more likely for the unplugged space heater to blow up.

I'm going to keep studying these cognitive biases, and I plan to maybe even write a book demonstrating these, with my mom being the main example.
