Dear Minecraft Peopler, Don't talk about minecraft all the time
So right now, I'm listening to someone telling his girlfriend about some flint block or something, and he's kind of enthusiastic about it. He wants to show her Minecraft, and he's talking about how hardcore and good he is at Minecraft, and I can just hear his girlfriend trying to be interested, but really not caring. And this isn't the first time I've heard this. It's with a lot of video games. My cousin tells me things about video games that I've never played, and I try to be respectful and enthusiastic, but I really just don't care. Or he'll want to show me a video game, but I won't care. There's one game that I'll play with him, and it's the Call of Duty series because it's the only shooter that I've played. I haven't played battlefield, which is the one he is into now, and although he tells me how great it is and that I should play it, I really just don't care. Now, that's not to say that I don't care about any new ideas. I certainly loved the game Portal 2 when Clayton told me to play it. But I feel like Minecraft is just talked about way too much. (He's still talking about it after 15 minutes, and his girlfriend is still trying to be chill about him talking about getting wither.
Take Away: Don't talk about your obsessions about people who don't care about them.
