Long Hair Short Hair
With the brain damage and all, I've had a lot of compliments about my short hair. Well, minus the surgeon... he only got half of it. My mother had a cut the other half.
Dear surgeons, when you have to cut someone's hair off, please cut the entire hair. Nobody wants half of their hair cut. Especially when you have to spend another week in recovery with half a head of hair.

So, after a lot of embarrassment and after getting the other half my hair cut, and after some of it grew back, I got a lot of compliments. Way more then normal. I was quite smug knowing a secret when people said "I like the hair cut" because it was just covered enough so no one could tell my brain was reosmosizing itself.
My hair is about where it used to be five months ago and I've gotten at least two complements about my longer hair.
I'm not sure what the lesson is. Maybe it's that people are too nice. Maybe we're all different.
