Clothes - The Real Superpower

Last night (or was it this morning?), I was asked "why are you in a Batman costume?" Not having fully thought this out, I gave her a shallow and ambiguous answer: it makes me happy.
That was true - but she put me on the spot. I couldn't articulate my answer at the time, but now that I've slept on it, I can.
Dressing up as Batman gives me superpowers. You're probably wondering what those superpowers are, considering it doesn't really change my physical state of being besides becoming much hotter and sweatier.
