I have to make this. A baby backpack. In real life. For under $50. And I sat in front of solidworks... and couldn't do it. And then people drew on me.
Engineering is hard.
And then I had to work the fly system in the theater.
I wasn't supposed to work the fly system today.
But a friend had a big test to study for.
So I helped run the fly system today.
I should not be trusted to run the fly system.
Do you know what happened?
We started the show.
And then the guy over the headset said
"Stand by line A"
And I got excited because I had one job, one job only, and I was going to do a great job with my one job.
And I had my hand on the rope to pull the curtain up.
And then the guy over the headset said
"Go line A"
And I pulled
And I pulled
And I pulled so quickly
until....
WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOAH SOTOPP[[PP[[PAERLNOBIJSVDP;FGLDSKJFZVKLFSGRF
and
then
I
got
confused
and
then I realized that I'm an idiot.
I pulled the curtain the wrong way.
And the curtain came tumbling down to the floor
And I managed to knock down a sign in the process.
Then the whole production stopped
We took 5 minutes to reset the sign
And then they told me to pull the right rope this time.
After the show got going, I started revising my paper due that hour.
And then the lovely lighting people used some haze
And a little more haze.
And then too much haze.
And then the fire alarm went off.
And we all went outside.
But I didn't bring my laptop.
I didn't need my laptop, I thought.
The fire alarm will clear in 3 minutes, I thought.
I thought wrong.
We took attendance to make sure nobody was dead.
I was not dead,
Sadly.
And we waited.
And eventually we went inside.
I now had 30 minutes to submit my paper.
Then crew was dismissed.
I now had 20 minutes to submit my paper.
And then I panicked about my paper.
But the paper was done.
But I kept panicing anyways.
Then I submitted my paper.
Then I stopped crying.
And then I remembered that I left ice cream near the fly system.
That ice cream is not going to be good tomorrow.
You know who else is not going to be good tomorrow?
Me.
Why?
Because I left ice cream near the fly system before the fire alarm.
(we're not supposed to have food by the fly system)
And also...
I'm coming in late tomorrow...
So I'm going to already be late
And then I'm going to get yelled at for leaving ice cream near the fly system...
